Beaver Hunt

This beaver was pretty perturbed by my presence as I fished to a prospective trout back in July.In this photo, he was about 3 ft away and not backing away.It makes sense now that the first people in this area were beaver trappers--imagine thousands of these guys all around the water!

Summer nights

It's not the clearest pic in the world, but it gives a good idea of what my nights look like...moon over the river..

It has been our story out West all summer..hot days and then rain as seen through a "wyoming windshield".

Pacific creek,one of the tribs of the Snake with a perfect view of the tip of the Grand...Pacific is home to some really nice cuttys in pretty skinny water.

Well my dog has finally learned that she is a good swimmer.The little white dot left of center is her as she made her escape from from some too curious for comfort cows..
